The Sparkman Lab at Westmont College explores the ecology, evolution, and conservation of snakes, lizards and birds across California.  We are interested in how physiology, behaviour, and life history interact to produce viable strategies in changing environments.

 

Our work is inspired by an unbounded curiosity about how the world works, and a deep affection for the animals that we study.
